A Mother's Love - Amanda

We recently did Amanda's maternity shoot...
It was a lot of first for us...

First maternity shot we have done with 2 photographers (sometimes 3) . . .
First shoot for Nicole, our new assistant, to join us . . .
First one in the new studio . . .
First one with Bill and "A's" new portrait lenses !! ... (LOVE 'EM!!)

Amanda and her mother joined us first -- and Kendall came by for some family shoots ...
We had so much fun with this new family --
Amanda was 4 days over due when we took these -- whew --

We wish you all the most joyful filled time with Kenadee...
Don't blink --- or you'll see -- she's grown !!

Here's some of our favs:

One of our fav shots --- from NICOLE -- great eye, huh !!

Kenadee's first pair of heels -- aren't they sooo cute??

And Kenadee's first 3 generation photo with Mom Amanda and Grandmother Sherry...

Thank you for allowing us to help you create MEMORIES !!

Randa's SR Portraits !!

We have the great honor of taking Randa's SR portraits recently...
On a very cold afternoon - we struck out ...

We had such a great time and really were honored to be a part of such an important time for Randa...

Here's our quote for Randa:

Your dreams are what will take you to the corners of your smiles, to the highest of your hopes, to the windows of your opportunities, and to the most special places your heart has ever known. ~Author Unknown

Here's our fav shots from the day!!

We wish you the best SR year EVER !!

Busy Week along with Kristin and Jason's Love Story !!

We had a busy week that started with the Bridal Fair --
Here's a shot of our booth and 2 of our customers that stopped by....

Candace and Jason stopped by and saw some of their prints for the first time --
We're still editing their proofs as we write this !!
You can see the photo of her and Jason straight in front -- and their blog is listed below...
It's always so fulfilling to have our brides see their portraits at the bridal fairs and be moved !!

Then Jason and Kristin stopped by -- their prints were hanging for display --- You'll see their blog below -- They, too, had yet to see their prints !!!
They stopped by today and viewed their portraits ...
Really neat sharing their prints with them - up close and personal !!

Orders have been piling in all day Thurs and Friday --
We are carefully going through them -- boxing them -- and shipping them out....
Whew --
We're waiting on some Coffee Table Books and Gallery wraps ---
But have almost all of the Christmas orders - and pre-Christmas order in...

On to more fun stuff !!

We joined Jason and Kristin in Fayetteville for 2 different shoots ...
The first attempt was in the 18 degree weather -- yes - it WAS COLD !!
We didn't make it long before we were ALL so cold we couldn't function for shaking and we think - minor frost bite !! LOL!!

The 2nd day was soooo much warmer -- a topical 35 degrees -- a heat wave for sure !!
They both braved the cold weather for some awesome shots !!
Kristin wore the cutest little black dress - and did so well not looking like she was freezing !!!

This couple has known each other since they were in jr high school --
Joseph and Miranda -- they have you two beat !!!
It was so much fun spending the day with them and Miley !!

We look forward to the wedding !!

We wish you both the best of love and fun planning for the upcoming April event !!

Here's to Jason and Kristin --
Enjoy some of our fav shots !!

Bill and "A"

This was outside their home at sunset in the 19 degree weather ... As usual - Bill did a great job catching the light -- even if it was sooooo cold !!

Another fun shot at their home ...

We saw this jewelry company and were talking to Jason about taking some shots there -- so funny --- this is where he bought Kristin's ring...
Things that make you go ... hummmm.... and then laugh out loud...

Sooo....
They were up for some fun shots with the Romance Diamond Company's sign....
Love how Kristin's face just lights up when she's smiling at Jason -- and visa versa!!

One of our MANY 2 photographer shots from this day ....

We did one of our 1st -- formal -- night shoots --
We've been practicing -- but haven't done any "formal" night portraits...
Jason and Kristin were so nice to help us out as we gave this a "shot" (get it .. shot?? ok -- not so funny!!)

"A's" shot -- featuring the big picture and the architecture around in the scene...
Cooled down the toning in post production....

Bill's shot at the same time --- focused in tight on the couple ...
Don't you think the light on the couple is so awesome !!

We love it when the sky cooperates and gives us a clear blue day -- albeit a very cold one !!

"A's" fav shot of the day:
After the couple posed for "A" who stayed on the ground below the couple --
Bill saw a great opportunity to get this cool shot of the couple in the arch --
And he posed them himself !! Whew... hew !!
He needs to do more shots like this !!

Another 2 photographer shot from the day ...

"A's" shot of the couple -- the look of love ... as we call it ....

And Bill's shot at the same time -- to showcase the "BLING"...
He gets some of the best "ring" shots ...

And what's a portrait session without the shoe shot...
Such a contrast in these 2 ...
Her ... high heels and stilettos ...
Him ... unlaced Converse !!
Gotta love the differences that make couples so great for each other ...

Bill took advantage of the setting sunset to create some dramatic shots that made for some great black and white conversions !!!

And another 2 photographer shot ....

"A's" shot of the whole scene -- she loves to take in scenic shots that fill the entire frame with the surroundings so that you get the "feel" of what is going during the day and the shoot ...

And Bill likes to focus on the up close and personal -- tight shots ...
Like this one ...

Another fun shot at the couple's new home ...

There's something special about the poses where the guy is kissing the gal ... and she's smiling ... taking it all in.... These are some of "A's" fav shots ... And this one is no exception...

Another kiss ... just a few during the engagement shoots !!

And our last 2 photographer shot of the day ...

"A's" traditional wall shot of the couple --
All of us "photographer people" have our own rendition of this classic shot ..
Here .. "A" stylized it in post production ...

And Bill's shot at the same time ... focused on their hands !!

Bill's fav shot of the day ....

He really liked the up angle that these shots provided while "A" stayed on the ground below to take some fun shots of the couple...

Looks like they are in New Orleans or the Caribbean doesn't it ...
And don't you just love Kristin's pose ...

And we close with this shot of the couple --
Kissing !!!

Again - we wish them lots of luck and love ...

See ya' in April !!
