You've met them here on the blog...
We knew that this couple was so very special ... and so much fun...
At our preliminary meeting -- they shared with us their plans for a wedding on the family farm... Thoughts of cow paddies came to mind -- but we love what they did with the place...
The altar was set in front of a waterfall -- and with all the rain this fall -- it was unlike anything you could imagine... So bubbly -- it matched Chrissy and Nathan exactly !!
Every wedding is special to us -- a privilege to be a part of -- humbling to be selected to document this very important day -- and an honor to be invited into the families of our bride and groom. Yet -- there is one wedding that matches your style as a photographer -- your roots as a country girl growing up on a farm -- your love of romance -- a carriage ride to the site --- and how welcomed you feel by the family... This was one of those days...
Here's some of the story of the day --- documented by some of our favorite shots -- and there were a lot on this day!!
Thanks to the 2 families, thanks to Chrissy and Nathan, and thanks to God for the blessings of this day and allowing us to participate...

Don't you love the look on Nathan's face -- so happy -- so excited -- and Chrissy's smile says it all !!

The day was beautiful -- and the surroundings were scenic - often -- breathtaking.

The candy bar at the reception was a favorite and visited often!!

The attention to details showed in all the decorations -- from the guest book table -- to the flowering pumpkins ... You could see Chrissy's love of bling and style and how gracefully they merged it with Nathan's love of the outdoors...

The girls gathered at the cabin ....

While the guys got ready at the bunk house...

Here's one of the coolest and most moving things we've seen in all of our years of doing weddings (makes us sound old, huh!!) ...
Chrissy had the REAL wedding rings of family members -- grandparents - here and past -- great grand parents - aunts - parents -- and wove them into her bouquet....

And having some bling of his own -- Nate donned his state ring for this special day...

You can see Chrissy's tears as she saw Nate for the first time ...

We closed the romace session with some romantic shots at Chrissy's favorite field...

The group took a hay ride to the wedding site down in the valley ...

While the bride arrived as the couple's wedding quote shared -- like a "fairytale"... in a horse drawn carriage.

The ceremony brought ... laughter ...

Tears of joy ...

And family prayer and blessings....

Chrissy and Nathan share "tidbits" during the ceremony...

We wish them the best -- and that their fairytale that will be "lifelong"...
