Some common questions we get are:
Q: Do you send your albums out to have another company create them?
A: No way, Jose!! We work hard to create your own individual album that reflects your colors and styles... They take a while to create -- but think they are worth the wait!!
Q: Why don't you just drop in the photos using a template?
A: We love how each album has a distinctive look to it - no 2 are EVER the same !!
We create our own backgrounds for each book --and add little special touches... We want your album to be more than a book of photos.
It is important to us that your album is a piece of art that you will treasure for many, many years.
Q: Do you stylize / edit EVERY photo in the album?
A: You "bet'cha".
We don't want you to have any photos with blemishes or uneven tones. And we like to add some of the "different" styles ... sepia, color splash on black and white, textures, etc. This, too, adds to the unique tone and quality of your album.
Q: Do you charge extra when creating the album for these stylized portraits in the album?
A: Nope, it's all part of our creative services...
Q: Do we get to edit the album?
A: Yes -- it won't go to print until YOU approve it !!
Q: How long does the creation process take?
A: Well, it can be longer during busy season -- and a lot depends on the couple ...
Once your proofs are online - you go through and select the photos you'd like to have in the book...
Then -- when we have your list -- we start creating !! On our side, the creation process takes about 6 - 8 weeks -- we do A LOT of specializing in our books !!!
After we have our "1st run", we'll upload the album for you to proof and edit ...
Then -- it's a tennis match back and forth -- you make edits -- we update the book -- you make edits - we update the book.... (I see you get the picture)
Lastly -- once you approve your book - it's off to the printer....
Coffee Table books take about 2 - 4 weeks to get in ....
Flush mount albums about 6 - 8 weeks...
We know that's a long time, but we want your album to be a work of art -- and reflect your style so that every time you look at the book you feel as if you are "reliving" your special day!!
