We had a blast with this couple !! And even though it was cold -- they braved it out for some great shots outside the Chapel...
We love shooting the "ARKANSAS CHAPELS", as we call them -- all 3 are beautiful with their glass finishes. Each one a bit different -- Eureka's has more glass, and Hot Springs' is bigger with a different wood finish...
They all 3 make the most dramatic shots -- as you can see !!
After the wedding -- we headed to the bride's sister's home. Julie has a new book out called "CROWNED" ... you can get more info about her books at her web page ... http://authors.simonandschuster.com/Julie-Linker.
Great food, great people, lots of fun -- and some great photos...
Thanks to the whole group for a making the day so wonderful for us !!
We wish Candace and Jason lots of love and happiness !!
HERE'S our FAVS from the day !!
This one was taken at the reception site --
"A" toned it up and added some texture --
It's "A's" fav shot that Bill got all day --
She loves the look they have for each other ...
She's such a push-over for these types of shots....

A great shot of Candace's dress -- and of the scenic beauty of the chapel. Although it's not as green as usual, even in the winter months it makes for an awesome portrait !!

We both love architecture shots --- and the chapel made for some great ones!! "A" caught the couple in an embrace and jumped at the chance to use the chapel's trusses and wood for the backdrop.

OUR 2 PHOTOGRAPHER SHOT !!
1st up -- Bill's expansive shot ot the back of the chapel with the couple looking out... You should see this under lights -- the chapel just comes to life and glows ...

A's shot taken at a totally different angle and focused more on the couple !!
2 photographers with 2 VERY different styles and view points ...

Bill got another "stealth - like" shot of the couple while they posed for "A"...
Don't you just love how he made Candace's "BLING" the main focus of the shot -- yet caught the tenderness of the couple's kiss !!

"A" caught the little girls sneaking in a peak of the chapel before the ceremony !!

Another shot to showcase the couple...

We always love the "walking away" shots ... It's like a close to the day that says ... "today we begin our journey together as man and wife" ... Yes, again with the "hokey - touchy-feely" stuff ...
But weddings just touch our hearts !! We can't help it..

"A" really doesn't like the traditional marriage license shots ... You all have seen them -- the bride holds the certificate behind the groom's back while he's hugging her -- and smiles at the camera and winks... No . No. and can we say NOOOOOOO ...
If time allows, she always works to create a unique and different license shot ... Sure we do the traditional shot for Aunt Sally and Grandmother, but we like to take the traditional and add our "P and M" twist ...
BILL'S FAV SHOT OF THE DAY ...
This twist on the traditional is his fav shot of the day...
Still have the couple, the license, and well... romance !!
She color-splashed this one in post production so that your eye is drawn to the marriage license !!

"A" shares with our couples during their planning session with us, that Bill has such a talent for using available light sources to create some of the most impactful and moving images. Many of our former couples will attest to this !! He's set up some of the most amazing shoots using light ... We are so honored that he continues to learn and grow so that we get great shots like this one of Candace...
Candace had paused to take in the day and Bill had her move into the sunlight ... She didn't even know she was posing --- she was just taking in the sun after being outside ...
Is this not a fantastic shot !! The way the light just shimmers on her face ...

Another 2 PHOTOGRAPHER SHOT ....
"A's" shoot - first this time ...
The couple taking in each other after a long day ...
Stylized and textured...

And Bill's shot ...
Love how his shot shows the "sultry" look on Jason's face ...
Oh yeah !! A smokin' hot shot of a smokin' hot couple

We wish the couple ALL the best and again -- thanks for the honor of selecting us to document such a special day !!
